As many of you will recall we had a fantastic Building Hope Parish Renewal weekend last November. This celebrated our return as a Parish Community to a more normalised post Covid environment where we could once again gather and celebrate our community connections as we used to do. We are delighted to develop this theme on Sunday 11th June, with a Building Hope Parish Summer Festival. We hope many of our Parish Community and Families will join us after Mass for some light refreshments and entertainment. There are many great things to celebrate and talk about. The new Parish Council, with the support of many of you, are building on the good work commenced by the last Parish Council in taking forward some of the key initiatives you identified as part of the Parish Synod last year and the Building Hope Gathering, we had last June. More news on these developments and plans will be provided at the Masses on Sunday 11th. We do hope many of you will participate in the Building Hope Parish Summer Festival. There will be refreshments after all of the Parish masses on Sunday morning in a Marquee on the Church grounds, with the main entertainment being our own local and very talented Rathfarnham Band. They will treat us all to a fantastic medley of music from 12.45pm to 2.15pm. We will also have an Ice-Cream Van on site along with face painting for our younger parishioners. So please mark the date in your diary and join your fellow parishioners, neighbours, families and friends in a morning and early afternoon of catching up, chatting and enjoying some great music with a cuppa in hand!
