From Cherryfield, Dublin 12, I have 3 lovely brothers and went to St Louis High School in Rathmines.
Studied accountancy after school and worked at it for 10 years and I was involved in the church activities and youth clubs. I realised I wanted to work with people – not figures.
I studied Pastoral ministry and youth ministry and gave school retreats throughout Ireland and England on various retreat teams. I eventually set up my own for team. I was involved in the Dublin Marathon and as there were no retreats during the summer, I was asked to take over as office manager which I did for 20 years! The marathon office closed as there was no marathon during the pandemic. I moved to Rathfarnham on the passing of my dear Mum. I got involved in the Gospel choir which I really enjoy. This lead me back into parish work which I love.
I am delighted to be part of the parish team. Young people are a creative, vibrant force within the parish. I am keen to embrace the role that will challenge, engage and encouraging them on their faith journey. I am eager to use my past pastoral experiences, personal faith, communication and relationship building skills to enable our youth play an active part in their community, through service, ministry and leadership.
I look forward to meeting you all.
