The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Christian voluntary organisation, responding to the call every Christian receives to bring the love of Christ to those in need:
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in
Matthew 25:35
Inspired by our principal founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron St. Vincent de Paul, the society gives practical support to those experiencing poverty and social exclusion by providing a wide range of services to people in need.
The Rathfarnham Conference of the Annunciation was established in 1969, the activities of this conference include:
- Home visitation
- Provision of advice and financial assistance to persons in need
- Provision of food, fuel, clothing
