The Liturgy is the summit and the source of our Christian life; it is a reminder that we are a Christian family. Therefore it is very important that we take time as a parish to prepare our liturgies well. The Liturgy Group organises many of the paraliturgical and liturgical celebrations during the year. For example, the Reconciliation Services, Last Light Ceremony, Feast of the Annunciation, Penal House Mass and other relevant ceremonies.
The group is a sub group of the Parish Pastoral Council and its members are made up of the various ministries in the parish and those who have an interest in creating welcoming liturgies where we encounter God.
The group meet regularly during the year and most of the group have completed a Liturgy Group course and attend different workshops in the diocese throughout the year. We are always looking for new members and full training and support will be given. So if you feel you would like to help, please contact the Parish Pastoral Office 01 495 8695 for further information.
