Just as I believe that God extends to human beings a divine and inexhaustible welcome: the door is always open, the table always set, the arms flung wide, outstretched.

Ministers of the Welcome, play an important part in the liturgical celebrations of the parish. They welcome people into the church at the weekend Masses and other para liturgies and services. They are responsible for distributing the missalettes and the Annunciation Times newsletter. There ministry also involves helping people to find seats and orientate visitors and new parishioners to the lay out of the church. Some of our Welcome Ministers are also Mass Collectors.
Education and training for the ministry is provided in the parish and further workshops locally and diocesan are offered for the support the Minister during the year.
There is a team of ministers for each Mass at the weekend and people request their preference for the Mass they wish to attend. Jim Moore coordinates this Ministry and organises the rotas.
This group is part of the Welcome Ministry and they collect at the Masses where there is a collection. Jim Moore also coordinates this group who work on a rota basis.
